"Stanford provides unparalleled opportunities for our students in every aspect of their undergraduate experiences. Over the course of the past decade, undergraduate education at Stanford has undergone a fundamental transformation. We have institutionalized a culture that directly engages students in the search for knowledge and real-world problem solving from their first days on campus. We also have strengthened the breadth and quality of opportunities for academic and personal growth across the undergraduate experience. Our graduates are prepared to leave campus and become leaders, wherever they go and whoever they become.
Now, The Stanford Challenge will extend this renaissance in undergraduate education by expanding and enhancing the outstanding programs that define its excellence. And to meet the demands of a bold new financial aid program, the campaign will increase endowment for scholarships—deepening Stanford's foundational commitment to accept qualified students regardless of their financial situation.
