Join fellow alumni for a morning working on the Ravenswood Family Health Center (RFHC) patient teaching garden.
RFHC is a Community Health Center that provides comprehensive health care to a diverse population of low-income families and uninsured residents in south San Mateo County. The clinic maintains a teaching garden that is an important tool for Staff and Patients to promote healthy living and provide comprehensive care. We are looking for volunteers to help us keep the garden beautiful and functional.
Tasks for this volunteer event would include:
• Painting signs to label what is growing in the garden
• Planting fruits and vegetables
• Weeding the garden
• Other fun garden tasks as needed
Volunteers are crucial to allow Ravenswood Family Health Center serve its growing patient population and we thank you for your help!
