Join fellow alumni and nonprofit Collective Roots for a morning of garden tasks at the East Palo Alto Charter School. We’ll be weeding, mulching, planting, chicken tending, and pitching in as needed. Knowledgeable staff will be onsite to direct operations, and gardening tools and work gloves will be provided. Children of all ages are welcome, with parental supervision.
Your support will help Collective Roots maintain a school garden and outdoor classroom where students learn nutrition, science, math, social studies, and environmental stewardship, all on a one-acre oasis on the edge of San Francisco Bay.
