Event Details

Map address
Join Stanford Medical Center Alumni Association for an afternoon of alumni camaraderie under the sun. After lunch, we will travel together to Redwood City where we will help Fair Oaks Health Center build a community garden. We will be constructing raised garden beds, weeding, mulching, and planting within the garden. Please wear comfortable clothes and dress to be outdoors. Hats or visors are recommended. There is no minimum age, so all members of the family can join us.
We will meet at Stanford Medical Center Alumni Association patio for lunch at 11:00 a.m. and take a chartered bus to the East Palo Alto Charter School. We will build the garden from 1-4 p.m., then take the bus back to Stanford.
Fair Oaks Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center(FQHC) serving the uninsured and under-insured population of San Mateo County. More information on Fair Oaks Clinic is available at http://www.sanmateomedicalcenter.org/content/FairOaksClinic.htm.
