Everyone knows we have great beaches but even locals are surprised to hear that San Diego is quickly becoming the beer capitol of the US with microbreweries popping up every month in the most unlikely places. Beer tasting is about the entire experience, the ambiance of the brewery, the friendliness of the staff, and learning more about the beers you're drinking. But with so many breweries, which ones are the best? Which are the BEST breweries in San Diego?
This year the Stanford Alumni Club of San Diego will be organizing a tour of some of San Diego's best micro breweries. We will visit a variety of breweries for tours and beer tastings throughout the year.
Our next event will be a combination Brewery Tour/Tasting and Stanford Football Watch party. This month we will be visiting La Jolla Brewing Co.
Stanford will be taking on UC Davis to kickoff the 2014 football season. Come out and cheer on the Cardinal while trying some good local beer and food!
