Host an International Student during the holidays

Are you interested in hosting an international student during the holidays? If you live less than 10 miles from campus, consider volunteering to host a student for Thanksgiving dinner or for dinner or a short stay during the winter break. Invite these students into your home for good food (whether home-made or ordered out) and conversation. There's no hidden agenda here. Over a casual meal you'll be able to connect with these students, learn about what's happening on campus and in their home countries and share your own Stanford story. For students, it is an opportunity to connect with alumni and to have a warm welcome during the holidays when campus can be a lonely place far from home.
