Students at Beresford Elementary School need your help to learn about business, economics, financial literacy, and career readiness skills! Partner with Junior Achievement to volunteer to show students the relationship between school and the world of work, focusing on career skills, financial skills and the benefits of staying in school.
Junior Achievement will provide you with the necessary training and materials. Your job is to:
· Attend a 60 minute training session (which will be arranged on an individual basis)
· Prepare and teach the five JA lessons during a ½ to full day of school
· Be a role model to students in 1st grade
· Share your education and professional experience
· Inspire young people to stay in school and prepare for a life of success!
Volunteers should please bring their own lunch.
