Join SAO as we kick off the 2015/2016 Portland Arts & Lectures series with author Jane Smiley, winner of the 1992 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for her novel A Thousand Acres. Random House published Early Warning, the second novel in Smiley's trilogy about an Iowa family, this April. A limited number of Patron-level, Orchestra section tickets are available. Your ticket also includes admission to the post-lecture "meet the author" reception, including complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer.
