Join Magic to water oaks and other California natives on the "dish" hill and other nearby openspace lands. It's a chance to care for trees and understorey species along a recreational route enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Volunteers make new friends, learn about local eco-systems, enjoy the out-of-doors, exercise, and work for common good. The work entails carrying half-full five-gallon buckets of water over uneven terrain for distances of up to 50 feet.
