Join fellow members of Stanford Professional Women of Orange County for a discussion of “Being Mortal” by best-selling author, practicing physician and Stanford alum Atul Gawande ('87). Based on his personal experiences with both family and patients, Gawande examines the limitations and failures of the medical field as it deals with end of life issues.
We will gather at a home in Irvine for dessert and a discussion. Light dessert and coffee/tea will be provided. The event is limited to members of SPWOC. Please contact Veronica if you wish to bring a guest.
