Want to start off the summer season with some fun? Come join fellow alumni and friends in a private underground tour of Old Sacramento to see and learn how Sacramento lifted itself up from the flood waters during the 1860's and 1970's just when Jane and Leland Stanford were living in the region. This is the evening "adult" version of a tour given by the Sacramento History Museum which includes a glimpse into the time of saloons, gaming halls, theaters, political intrigue, murders of passion and colorful characters of ill repute. This 1/2 mile private tour, which visits areas with uneven surfaces and low ceilings, will run rain or shine, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. The tour ends in front of Fat City Bar & Cafe, at J and Front streets, with a commemorative shot glass and a ticket for a discount drink. The group size is extremely limited so we suggest you sign up early. Reservations and ticket purchase must be made by May 30, 2016.
