Islam is the second largest religion in the world and the third largest in the  United States.  And yet how much do you know about Islam? Have you ever wondered what Islam is really about and what a Mosque looks like inside?   This event will provide an opportunity to learn about the basic teachings of Islam and Islamic law as part of the fabric of our diverse American society and the world at large.

This event includes a tour of the SALAM Center and Mosque, a presentation by the SALAM Islamic Center’s Imam Kashif Ahmed and Vice Chairperson Dr. Anne Kjemtrup followed by a question and answer session. Come join fellow alumni and friends as we expand our understanding of Islam.

Attire: For tour of Mosque, women please wear long skirt or pants, 3/4 length or long sleeved blouse and head scarf.  Extra scarves will be available.
