2016 Stanford Bicycling

You’ve conquered the 2012 Tour de Stanford, the 2013 Giro d’Stanford, the 2014 Vuelta a eStanford, and a 2015 season that honored the one-day Classics and Monuments of bicycle racing.  This year is all about riding just for the love of the bicycle, and for the enjoyment of post-ride food and friendship.

Avid cyclists are invited to join fellow alumni and friends for a five stage bicycling event on the beautiful roads and hills of Colorado.   Each month this summer we will explore a different part of the state.

Stage 1: Carter Lake and Hygiene
Berthoud, CO / Saturday, May 28, 2016

A nice warm-up for the season with picturesque views of Carter Lake and a pit stop in Hygiene, a local favorite spot for cyclists.  Approximately 42 miles and rolling hills.  Lunch in Berthoud after the ride.

PROPOSED STAGE 1 ROUTE MAP

We can adjust the route as needed based on weather and rider preference.

There are many possibilities for shorter route options, but please give us enough notice to plan the routes.

MEET AT 8:30 am.  DEPART by 9:00am
