That's right, Los Tigres del Norte are coming to Stanford this summer, and SCLAA Nor Cal will be purchasing discounted group tickets! Come join fellow Stanford Chicano/Latino Alumni for an evening of fun music and friends.
We have arranged a block of seats on a first-come, first-served basis, with discounted ticket pricing for our Stanford Chicano Latino Alumni Association of Northern California Club. Tickets will be in the first three rows of the Choral Terrace. We cannot guarantee pre-assigned seats. Information on where to pick-up your tickets will be emailed a week prior to the event.

A family band who immigrated from Sinaloa, Mexico, to San Jose in 1968, Los Tigres del Norte (The Tigers of the North in English) are famous for story-telling corridos that give voice to the Mexican immigrant experience. Led by singer and accordionist Jorge Hernández, the band of brothers and cousins began their careers performing norteñomusic, collecting multiple Grammy Awards along the way, to become one of the most influential Latin groups of all time.
