Want to enhance your summer fun? Here is another opportunity to join fellow alumni and friends in a private tour of Old Sacramento (above ground this time!), our region’s historical treasure. Gold Rush area buildings will serve as the backdrop as our knowledgeable tour guide leads us through the Old Sacramento Historic District. Learn about Sacramento’s boomtown origins and how the Gold Rush influenced the development of the City. Hear stories about miners, merchants, politicians, Pony Express riders, and the disasters they overcame to help shape the region that Jane and Leland Stanford found when they moved to Sacramento in 1856.
