We'll be reading and discussing the excellent autobiography My Beloved World by Sonia Sotomayor at our August meeting. My Beloved World is an uplifting and joyous story about the life of nation's first Latin-American and third female supreme court justice. President Obama pointed out that her life story is thee embodiment of the American Dream. She grew up poor in a Bronx housing project then went to Princeton and Yale Law School before ultimately being nominated and approved for a seat on the US Supreme Court. This will be another great read, and a great discussion. We look forward to seeing you at the August book club meeting!
