Please join award-winning cookbook author Maria Speck for an interactive talk of ancient grains in the modern diet. Raised in Greece and Germany, Maria has a lifelong passion for whole grains. She is a veteran journalist and food writer, and has contributed to Gourmet, Eating Well, Saveur and Gastronomica, among many other publications. After a lively discssion, we will then sample some delicious grain dishes, have drinks and appetizers and do some casual networking.
