Dr. Grossman will speak about how massive open online courses (MOOCs) and other forms of online and hybrid learning have created new opportunities and challenges for universities.  She will discuss:

- Who benefits most from massive open online courses (MOOCs)?
- Will the spread of online learning mean the end of the residential liaberal arts college?
- How can data collected from online courses improve student experiences?
 

Prior to our talk, Melissa Burns, ’05 and Shauna Itri, ’00 will present Stanford’s OVAL program to inform us of opportunities to interview high school seniors applying to Stanford.
