SCLAA NorCal invites you to a presentation and Q&A on Latinos, Immigration, and the 2016 Election, with Professor Gary Segura.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The issue of immigration and the dignity of Latino Americans lurched to the front of the national agenda the very moment the GOP nominee launched his campaign. With what effect? In this talk, Professor Segura will try to place the 2016 election in context and offer a longer-term view of how this election is part of a longer historical process of recreating the American nation.

This event is brought to you by SCLAA Nor Cal with support from El Centro Chicano y Latino, Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, MEChA de Stanford and other Stanford student groups.

Make sure to join SCLAA NorCal for more fun events in the Bay Area.
