Richmond District Food Tour - Sunday, Sept 18 1-4pm- Clement Street is often called SF's New Chinatown but it is so much more - a rich cultural stew of Asian & European influences left by successive waves of immigration. Unique locally owned shops, and not a Starbucks in sight. Robin Williams got his start there and one of SF's most amazing book stores has been going strong since 1967.
The food tour will be led by an experienced guide Jan Lachman, you'll eat your way through San Francisco's history. Tastings might include French, Vietnamese, Chinese, Burmese, Korean/Japanese Fusion & Hawaiian foods ... as well as Asian spiced artisanal chocolates. Jan has given us a 20% discount for our tour, for US$60.
