New members are always welcome to join our very informal book disucssion group.
We had lively discussion on August 3 about Julian Fellowes’s Belgravia and about books in general.
We have chosen a nonfiction title for our next book. We will meet to discuss it on Wednesday, September 21.
The book is not available at local libraries, but is available for purchase on amazon as an ebook, a new book, and a (very inexpensive) used book.
Honor Killing: Race, Rape and Clarence Darrow’s Spectacular Last Case, by David E. Stannard
Note: The book was first published with a different title: Honor Killing: How the Infamous “Massie Affair” Transformed Hawai’i.
