With less than two months to go until the U.S. election, Stanford Professor David Brady will analyze the 2016 presidential campaign from the nomination through the campaign, including pivotal states and key issues. He’ll conclude with an exploration of the issues the new government will face post-election.

Come listen to Professor Brady's insights, while meeting other local alums and enjoying a reception with wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres.

Professor Brady's Biography
David Brady is the Bowen H. and Janice Arthur McCoy Professor of Political Science and the Davies Family Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. His research focuses on American political history, congressional decision making, political parties, and U.S. elections. Professor Brady is a prolific author, publishing seven books and over 100 papers in journals and books. While at Stanford, he has served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the GSB and as Vice Provost for Distance Learning at Stanford.  Over his teaching career he has won the Dinkelspiel Award for service to undergraduates, the Richard Lyman Prize for service to alumni, the Bob Davies Award and the Jaedicke Silver Cup from the GSB, and the first Phi Beta Kappa Teaching Award given at Stanford.
