Join Stanford alums for an engaging conversation with noted Stanford sociology professor Doug McAdam regarding the important themes of his new book, Deeply Divided, Racial Politics and Social Movements in Postwar America.

Professor McAdam has requested that most of the evening be devoted to a conversation with alums and his students at Stanford in New York, where he currently is a visiting professor for the winter quarter.

Accordingly, alums are requested to read at least the first and last chapters in his book so that we can have a lively discussion.  https://global.oup.com/academic/product/deeply-divided-9780190465179?q=doug%20mcadam&lang=en&cc=us
