Women in the US are increasingly freezing their eggs as a way to preserve their fertility. Not since the birth control pill has a technology had so much potential to change family and career planning. This talk will discuss the medical process and associated social and ethical issues. Lynn Westphal, MD '87, is a professor of obstetrics & gynecology and director of the Fertility Preservation Program at Stanford University Medical Center.
Hospitality begins at 6:30 pm with the lecture at 7:00 pm.
