This will be a discussion with Stanford alum Tom Moyer '89, MIT '92 from Citizens' Climate Lobby about the scientific, economic, and political situation regarding climate change.

Tom Moyer is a mechanical engineer working for HDT Robotics on explosive ordnance disposal robots. He also teaches elementary school science to fourth and fifth-graders at the McGillis School in Salt Lake City. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and an SM in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Tom volunteers for Citizens' Climate lobby, a non-partisan group working with both political parties to create the political will to implement a revenue-neutral carbon tax. He was recently shown on the National Geographic Channel in connection with Congresswoman Mia Love's decision to join the Congressional Climate Solutions Caucus.

For more information regarding what Citizens' Climate Lobby has done with Congresswoman Mia Love, check out this clip from National Geographic.

This event is free and open to the public.
