Join the Stanford Club of San Diego for a field trip to the Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center, an acclaimed garden and nutrition education center. Located on an historic 6.85-acre property in National City, the center serves as an interactive, indoor-outdoor classroom for children and adults from throughout San Diego County.
We will start our day with a guided tour of the historic Noyes House and grounds, and then then volunteer together on a group garden project. Afterwards, we will be rewarded with a two-course gourmet catered lunch, prepared by a local chef and using ingredients sourced from the gardens- truly a farm-to-table experience!
