Oakland Museum of California: Featuring 1968 Exhibit

The Vietnam War, protests and assassinations were on the news.  Peace signs, love-ins and psychedelic rock were on the scene.  From the darkest hours to the incredible highs, the year 1968 comes alive in this extraordinary new exhibit.  To find out more about The 1968 Exhibit, please go to www.1968project.org.

Take a docent led tour of The 1968 Exhibit, tours will be available throughout the evening starting at 6:30 p.m.  Start a conversation with an expert, docents will be on-hand in the Art and History galleries.  Mingle with fellow alumni and friends over hors d'oevures, refreshments, beer and wine.

The Oakland Museum of CA is located at 1000 Oak Street at 10th Street.

The entrance to the parking garage is on Oak Street between 10th and 12th streets. Disabled parking spots and entrance to the Museum are on the street level of the garage.

Parking in the museum parking lot is free for Stanford event guests.
