The Stanford Black Alumni Summit is back! In May of 2015, the Stanford National Black Alumni Association (SNBAA) will host our next Summit, planned for alumni, by alumni.
In addition to the primary conference events on May 1st and 2nd, we will host a number of Summit Social Events throughout the weekend. Please use this RSVP, register and pay for any or all of the following events:
1. Welcome Reception [Sold Out]: Hosted by First Lady Dr. Carol Espy-Wilson, ’79 and President Dr. John Silvanus Wilson, Jr., on the campus of Morehouse College. Thursday, April 30th at 7pm. Shuttle service from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis will be provided.
2. Summit After Party, Ujamaa Atlanta: Come hang with classmates and relive the days of socializing at the Farm. Saturday, May 2nd, at 9pm. Location: Studio No 7. Admission: $35. Shuttle service from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis will be provided.
3. Morning Exercise: Start your day off with a brief exercise/stretch. Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd at 6am. Location: Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. Free admission.
4. Last Connect Brunch: Before heading off, unwind and reconnect with Summit attendees while enjoying a wonderful breakfast buffet and great vibe. Sunday, May 3rd, beginning at 8am. Location: SEAR Restaurant at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. A la carte pricing.
5. Atlanta Civil Rights Tour: For those in town Sunday, enjoy a bus tour of famous civil rights and Black history landmakrs in Atlanta. The bus tour will last 3-4 hours, visitin the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the MLK Center. Sunday, May 3rd at 12 pm, Location: Leaving from and returning to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. Admission: $45.
There is limited availability for some of the Social Events. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
