On the eve of Stanford+Connects, you won't want to miss this opportunity to take in a little Sacramento history with alumni and friends aboard the Capitol Hornblower!  This delightful one-hour river cruise will sail past Old Sacramento's famous historical sites including: the Delta King, the I Street Bridge, the Tower Bridge, and the Air Force Docks.  The live narration from our Captain will include fascinating stories from the history of Sacramento - - from John Sutter, the founder of Sacramento, to the wild first days of the Gold Rush and the legendary Pony Express.  Look for the Stanford signs and balloons!

Please arrive to the Hornblower Dock at 5:30 pm for boarding.  The boat departs promptly at 6:00 pm.  There will be a no-host bar with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.  There will also be snacks on board for purchase. All on-board purchases of food and drink must be paid by CASH.

More details on parking, getting to the dock and post-cruise dining suggestions are below.
