Join fellow alumni for an evening of wine tasting where you will get to try three different wines from The Hand of God Vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina, which was co-founded by local Seattle Stanford alum Jon Staenberg (BA ’82, MA ’85, MBA ’88) and Argentine native Santiago Archaval (MBA ’88). Hand of God vineyards is a new world wine producer with two large vineyards, Sobremesa Vineyard and Stolen Horse Vineyard, outside of the traditional growing areas in Mendoza (located in the Maipu region of Mendoza appellation of Argentina).
If you purchase 2 bottles during the event, the $25 fee will be applied toward your wine purchase!
We will try the following wines:
VRM - Retail $35
Equal parts Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne fermented together in neutral oak barrels where it aged for 10 months.
