The reception is a small token of our gratitude for those who have contributed to club programming either as top "Club Sponsors" or as "Friends of SBAASC." The funds contributed will support programming including pre-college events for students of color, as well as our annual Frosh Send Off for students of African descent in Southern California.
Our faculty guests, Vice Provost Harry Elam and Professor Michele Elam, as well as alumni speakers will be in attendance. The pre-reception will take place within LA Live at a venue that is a five minute walk from the speaker event.
