The Stanford Black Alumni Association of NY invites you to kick your weekend off right with a fun arts discussion led by Stanford University Trustee Emeritus Dr. V. Joy Simmons, '74, a radiologist as well as avid collector of and advocate for the arts.  Also featured are Naima Keith, Associate Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem, and Danielle Colding, '98, interior designer, season seven winner of HGTV Design Star, writer, and TV personality.

Join us for a fun exploration of the power of an art collection in the home, including: the difference between buying and collecting art, how to (kick)start your collection, the importance of supporting emerging Black artists, and more.

The event will begin with a tour of the museum's exhibitions, followed by a lively discussion and Q&A.

OPTIONAL: We invite attendees to head to nearby Harlem eateries afterward to celebrate summer with dinner and drinks (at your own expense).

This event is made possible through the generosity of 3 Black Girls, LLC and other anonymous supporters.
