SBAASC President's College Readiness Initiative

- Volunteer to create new college readiness images for Instagram
- Get updates on the Initiative and offer feedback
Each level of involvement includes options for sponsorship during registration and updates on the Initiative.

As part of efforts to have direct and ongoing impact in the Los Angeles area surrounding education our club has an informal partnership with Executive Preparatory Academy of Finance Charter High School serving low income families.
- Instagram College Readiness Project (ICRP)
The ICRP is an extension of a 2015 Beyond The Farm volunteer project organized by SBAASC club members in conjunction with the National Black Alumni Associaiotn (SNBAA) with virtual participation from Stanford alums as far as Germany and Chile. Volunteers created graphics and mini-movies with college prep info that is disseminated severl days each week at www.instagram.com/BlackNerdNation.
We have enough images for an entire year of college readiness information and will restart from the beginning each year and add more annually.
High School students at Executive Prep Charter High School are the primary audience for this project but all students and parents are welcome to follow the Instagram feed @BlackNerdNation. The cost to our club for automated scheduled image distribution weekly is $20 per month.
