We've got the Axe! And with that accomplished, Stanford football will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday in a battle for the Legends Trophy in a showdown between top-10 teams! Stanford will be looking for national respect as they take on a Notre Dame team whose only loss was to #1 Clemson but also struggled against lesser teams like Boston College and Temple. Can Stanford take advantage of Notre Dame's inconsistency? Can the Cardinal defense continue to employ a bend-don't-break defense without starting cornerbacks Ronnie Harris and Alijah Holder?
Come to Midway Field House this Saturday at 6:30PM for the 30th installment of a series that dates back to the 1925 Rose Bowl! Family and friends are welcome, and come close out the Cardinal football regular season with a time-honored rivalry! (Note that next week will be the Pac-12 Championship game, which Stanford will play.)
