Join us for a continuation of the OpenXChange dialogue featuring Stanford alumni and faculty who are experts in their fields.

Nightline anchor Juju Chang will interview U.S. Senator Booker (NJ) about public service, his new book United: Thoughts on Finding Common Ground and Advancing the Common Good, and what he calls, "the difficult work of bridging gaps and healing wounds." 

In this OpenXChange conversation, Booker will share his personal stories and his work to make change. From his undergraduate years as a political science major to his Rhodes Scholarship and city councillorship in Newark, New Jersey he has been an an activist and a volunteer. He has tackled issues ranging from drug dealing and housing to equity in education and transportation accessability.

United: Thoughts on Finding Common Ground and Advancing the Common Good,” is Booker’s story of a life in service and how he has become a self described, “prisoner of hope.”
