As of October 1st of this year, the Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts (MCBA, www.mcba.ch) ) moved to a new building, the so-called Plateforme 10 which will also host two additional museums (Musée de l’Elysée and mudacs) in the near future.
To celebrate this event the MCBA is showing a special exhibition, Atlas, which will allow us to see an extensive presentation of the donations to this museum.
This exhibition includes artworks from Auguste Rodin, Paul Klee, Balthus, Giovanni Giacometti, Felix Vallotton, Pierre Soulages and many others.
We invite you to join us for a visit at the MCBA, discovering at the same time both the new building hosting the museum and this Atlas exhibition on Thursday November 7th at 6pm.
After a guided tour of the exhibition we will further celebrate with an aperitif in the cafeteria until 8pm.
For those of us who will wish to do so, we will have then the possibility to have dinner at the new MCBA cafeteria.
And last but not least, as the Plateforme 10 building is next to the railway station, even if you are coming from another city, it will be reasonably easy for you to join and then travel back home after the event (for instance there are 6 trains departing for Zurich after 8pm).
The cost for this event is CHF 20.00 (including guided tour and aperitif).

You are also invited to pay the cost to the SCOS bank account (IBAN: CH03 0483 5044 6893 6100 0 ) together with the reservation. You will have the possibility to pay in cash just before the visit.
