Mahler’s most popular and successful work during his lifetime with its uplifting and sublime final movement features the TSO Chorus and soloists. The final movement blends symphonic and vocal forces in a way that has drawn comparisons with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 because both use a chorus as the centerpiece of a long movement. This work was voted the fifth-greatest symphony of all time in a survey of conductors by the BBC Music Magazine.
Tickets are available at the discounted rate through July 24th. Information on how to order your tickets is below. If all tickets have been purchased and you still want to attend, contact Joshua Cohen at 520-620-9159 and he may be able to add additional seats at the promotional price.
