August Book Club Meeting

If you so desire, feel free to bake or make a snack to share, or bring a bottle of wine or a blend of tea you would like others to try.  Parking is anywhere on the street in front of the house. But if anyone has physical access issues, they can pull into the drive and park in the back and will be able to get into the house easily from there.

The book club's goal is to engage in a stimulating conversation that can illuminate each book through a diversity of expressed opinions. The current theme is "journeys," taken broadly. Books serve as vehicles that transport readers to different places, foreign or familiar, real or imagined, of times present and past. Each monthly selection will be written by an author of a different nationality, and a range of geographies and epochs will be explored as we conduct our own journey around the globe.
