The 2018 wildfire season was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire season on record in California. Just this month, the National Weather Service issued excessive heat warnings across the state. It's clear we need to be informed this wildfire season, so please join us to hear from three experts:

Steve Garcia, Cal Fire Forester
Qi Zhang, Professor of Environmental Toxicology, UC Davis
Rebecca Miller, Doctoral Candidate, Environment & Resources, Stanford University

Our panel will address issues including the current situation in our forests, health issues presented by wildfire smoke and lessons we have learned with respect to land use planning, forest management, and community preparation. You will also have a chance to ask questions during a moderated Q&A session. The night promises to be informative.
