Map address
Join Stanford Club of the East Bay for a tour of Mountain View Cemetery and Halloween Reception. We’ll spend one and a half to two hours walking the historic cemetery and hearing from California historian Jane LeRoe. The tour will be followed by Halloween-themed food and drink at an adjacent residence. Designed by noted landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted (who designed Central Park and the Stanford campus), Mountain View Cemetery offers spectacular vistas of the San Francisco Bay’s surrounding areas. Every visit to Mountain View Cemetery is like a trip back in time. It is like shaking hands with railroad builder Charles Crocker, admiring the brushwork of Yosemite landscape painter Thomas Hill, and hearing architect Julia Morgan rhapsodizes about her designs for Hearst Castle. This event sold out last year so don't wait to get your tickets!
When: 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 20th, 2019
