Hike to Hidden Peak

Bring: Water (a liter should be sufficient), sunscreen, comfortable/sturdy shoes, sunglasses, hat, light snacks, a thin (preferably water resistant) layer, trekking pole(s) (optional), a HUGE smile, and tons of energy.

Alternatives: If you’d prefer to ride Peruvian Chair up and complete a short hike to the top of the tram, you are welcome to do that. You’ll need to buy a ticket from the Snowbird ticket office ($21). Or, if you’d prefer to just ride the tram up (also $21) and join for some food on the summit, you’re welcome to do that as well. Estimated time of arrival at the top of the tram is between 11 and noon.

One more thing: Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is also taking place during that time, so feel free to make a day of it. And if that’s not enough, a Stanford Football watch party, Stanford @ UCF on ABC or ESPN or ESPN2 will be taking place at the Tram Club starting at 12:30 PM, hosted by JJ Johnson '06.
