Dear Stanford Club Members,
We are happy to share the traditional program for our –hopefully- unforgettable weekend in Zermatt! We still have a few spots left so please share the word in the Stanford community.
Date: Jan 17-19, 2020 (FRI- SUN)
Where: Hotel Sonne 4*, Zermatt,

Programme: Friday night: arrival at the Hotel Sonne (c. 7:00-8:30 pm), apéro at the barfollowed by dinner. Please let Dominic know if you can make it for dinner or if you will arrive later. Same for those who prefer a vegetarian meal.
Saturday: skiing, walking, ice-skating,etc. We will have 2 skiing groups (beginners and advanced) to make sure you can explore this great ski area at your preferred speed. For the advanced skiers we would like to explore the Italian skiing side. Zermatt is great for other activities too. We will gather at the Hotel Sonne on Saturday morning at 8:30 am to form the two groups.
1) Advanced will go straight to the Italian side. Lunch is planned at 1:00pm at Chalet Igloo. www.igloocervinia.com
2) Beginners will ski on the Swiss side and meet at 12:30 pm at Gitz Gädi for lunch. www.hotelsilvana.ch/en/restaurant/
3) Absolute beginners should contact the Swiss ski school by themselves to book a ski teacher in advance.

Saturday night: Apéro at Hotel Sonne at 6:30 pm followed by dinner at the famous“Chez Heini” at 8 pm.

Afterwards drinks and/or dance option at Hotel Post or at Vernissage
Sunday: again, skiing, walking, etc. Last gathering “Chez Vrony” at 2 pm. up in Findeln, located on the slope or accessible by a 15 min walk from Sunnegga or 50 mins from Zermatt.
