Have you always wanted to write a novel or publish a book? Do you love to read?

Bring a friend and join Stanford Club of Pasadena and Stanford Professional Women for an exclusive workshop with Edgar Award-winning author and Stanford alum, Naomi Hirahara. Working as a journalist after graduating from Stanford in 1983, Naomi dedicated herself to writing a novel, taking classes with UCLA Extension after work and finally spending nine months in an intensive writing fellowship in Wichita, Kansas to publish her first book. In this talk, she will discuss what it takes to write and publish a novel during this time of Internet disruption.

Event Schedule: 3:00-Check in and reception; 4:00-Talk & Q&A with Naomi Hirahara
