As evidence for the impacts of climate change becomes overwhelming, technological solutions are increasingly mature, affordable, and rich with co-benefits, but still too slowly deployed. Professor Field explores how leveling the economic playing field, government investments, and novel mechanisms to spur international collaboration can accelerate progress.
The event will take place in the MLE Conference Room at Edwards Lifesciences. Check-in and light appetizers will take place from 6:30 - 7:00 PM, and the formal presentation by Professor Fields (including Q&A) will begin at 7:00 PM.
