Entrepreneur's Journey: Andre Gueziec Shares Tips to Startup Success

André Gueziec is an entrepreneur and executive with a unique combination of product vision, technical depth, and start-up expertise. André founded Beat the Traffic and sold it to the Pelmorex Canadian media group (“The Weather Network”).

The Beat the Traffic system is/was used by 80 TV stations in many large North American cities. Beat the Traffic was also a popular smartphone App, consistently in the top ten in the navigation category. BTT’s mission was to "Help users Beat the Traffic" . André started BTT and, as its CEO, grew it to a profitable business with original and defensible Intellectual Property, and an international team. 

André is an angel investor and advisor to selected technology companies. He advises notably on patent strategy. He has published forty peer-reviewed papers, journal articles and book chapters and is an inventor of about 50 U.S Patents with more pending. He also wrote a book entitled You can be a Silicon Valley Success.
