We will continue our online discussion of East of Eden by Nobel prize winner John Steinbeck and focus on Parts 3 & 4.  In East of Eden, Steinbeck created his most mesmerizing characters and explored his most enduring themes: the mystery of identity, the inexplicability of love, and the murderous consequences of love's absence. Set in the rich farmland of California's Salinas Valley, East of Eden follows the intertwined destinies of two families—the Trasks and the Hamiltons—whose generations helplessly reenact the fall of Adam and Eve and the poisonous rivalry of Cain and Abel.

Join us for a lively discussion of the selected book and connect with other alums. Become a regular member or drop in as your schedule allows.
