Stanford Alumni Movie Night: Showing and Discussion of "13th"
Event Details
06:45PM - 09:10PM
The tragic deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, among countless others, have forced all Americans to confront our country’s painful history of racial inequality, but the continuing challenges are ones that we as a community can choose to face together - through education, civic engagement, and respectful discourse.
To that end, the Stanford Multicultural Alumni Club, Cardinal Young Alumni Club, and Stanford Club of San Diego together invite you to join fellow alumni for a screening and discussion of 13th, a multiple award-winning documentary film on race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States. We welcome diverse viewpoints, and require only that attendees adhere to the SAA Digital Code of Conduct stated below.
