SNYA Virtual Event Series:Dumpling Making Class (4pm EST)
Event Details
04:00PM - 06:00PM
Optional, eating and socializing 6pm - 7pm.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make delicious, authentic, homemade dumplings? Are you tired of the same old mediocre takeout dumplings during quarantine? Well you're in luck!
Join Momo Liu, Class of '07 and her mother for an afternoon of delectable hands-on fun as they guide you through the process, from dough to filling to folding to boiling. They'll teach you everything you need to know to make the perfect jiao zi and wow your family and friends!
Recipe: A recipe and list of ingredients will be distributed to those who register in advance. The result will be a mouth-watering feast. However, this is not a requirement, and those who can't cook with us are welcome to just watch and learn. An optional virtual dinner will go from 6pm for those who would like to plan to stay longer.
So pull up a chair, roll up your sleeves, and get ready to become an expert dumpling craftsman!
If you have any questions, be it about logistics or dietary restrictions or anything else, please feel free to email mliu07@alumni.stanford.edu. The recipe can be adjusted to accommodate.
