Learn how to use Laughter Yoga to decrease stress and anxiety and boost overall health.

Laughter Yoga is not postural yoga and requires limited physical ability, and no special exercise clothing or equipment. All that is needed is a willingness to choose to laugh. The practice is called Laughter Yoga because laughter exercises are interspersed with deep yogic breathing and gentle stretches. The breathing deepens the laughter and increases the net intake of oxygen, which boosts peak performance levels.

Overview:

We will begin with an overview of the history and science behind Laughter Yoga and why laughter is the best medicine.

Ifacho will then guide us through the four steps of Laughter Yoga. After a few minutes of hearty laughter we will move into a brief meditation to cool down.

Questions from the chat will be answered at the conclusion of the session. Participants will be given a list of resources to continue practicing Laughter Yoga.
