Does Artificial Intelligence (AI) excite you or frighten you? Are you concerned about potential threats to your privacy and data security posed by increasingly prevalent AI technologies and applications? Are you intrigued by the use of AI to address complex challenges such as for medical diagnostics? What are some of the ethical issues raised by the use of AI in our daily lives?

Please join us for a presentation and Q&A about the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI) and learn about Stanford’s multidisciplinary and inclusive approach to research, education, and policy to promote human-centered technology. Dr. Susan Liautaud, a member of the HAI Advisory Council, an internationally recognized ethics expert, and the author of the upcoming book, The Power of Ethics, will talk about the origins of HAI, the cutting-edge work currently being done at the institute, and ethical issues regarding use of AI that affect all of us on a daily basis.

We will send registrants the Zoom link for Dr. Liautaud’s presentation one to two days prior to the event.
